11. Scotland - a land of mountains and wilderness

Scotland is a veritable feast for the wildlife enthusiast – birds, mammals, flora and wonderful forests and coasts. This talk focuses on the wildlife that cannot be seen in other parts of the United Kingdom – black and red grouse, osprey fishing,  golden eagles, peregrines, arctic and great skuas, red and black throated divers, crossbills, crested tits, Slavonian grebes, seabirds, red deer, red squirrels, mountain hares and many more. The Cairgorms, Findhorn Valley, Spey Valley, Ardnamurchan, Mull, Handa Island, the Moray coast and many lochs are all visited to entice those, who have never been, to explore this haven of avian and mammalian life.
