What is happening to our beautiful barn owls? This talk looks at British owls and in particular barn owls and reviews their present status. Research by the speaker on barn owls in Malaysia showed how the population was manipulated to increase numbers in such a way that the owls are now controlling rats in oil palm plantations. Using similar methods can we help our barn owls in UK?
